Abstract	In her talk, María-José Gonzálvez discussed how Google Tools for Education can support language teaching by fostering creativity, interaction, and critical thinking. She emphasised the importance of human-centred, pedagogical approaches and explored how integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features can complement—not replace—educators in nurturing reflective, engaged learners. She demonstrated how tools such as Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, Forms, and Drive enable meaningful collaboration, streamlined communication, and flexible assessment. AI features like grammar suggestions, live captions, and smart translation were presented as aids that, when used critically, can enhance language development and learner autonomy. Speaking-focused techniques were also highlighted, with tools such as Google Meet and audio-integrated tasks used to promote real-time oral interaction and communicative competence. Her talk also highlighted the value of digital storytelling and platforms like Google Sites and Keep, which empower students to organise their learning and express themselves creatively. Overall, the session reinforced the role of technology as a tool to enrich teaching and support inclusive, learner-focused education.
