| Abstract | How can educators teach students on media courses to make productions in a pandemic? This talk will discuss tools, techniques and challenges to enable students to learn via doing, outside of formal teaching and learning spaces. It does not seek to have all the answers but will endeavour to share best practice garnered by tutors and students working together during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It will explore how media educators evolve and work creatively to support students academically and emotionally and keep everyone safe in these exceptional times whilst adhering to stringent C-19 guidelines. Hopefully this can start a useful discussion of how we support each other in these challenging times and learn from each other’s practice. |
