| Abstract | As the world becomes increasingly complex, rapidly evolving and interconnected, we need to prepare our students to be ‘fit for the future’ and to be able to navigate through an AI enabled world. Assessment and feedback play a vital role in shaping the learning experience. Students are motivated and often driven by assessment. It dominates their thinking. The session focuses on two approaches of assessment and feedback within the Computing curriculum, and discusses insights, challenges and reflections. It considers strategies to encourage student participation and agency and explores the conditions that motivate students to engage with feedback. |
