Description

Invited Panel Chair and Host for The Courage to Thrive, a specialist public panel event held at Capital City College (CCC), Mosaic@Soho campus, ahead of Refugee Week 2026. The event brought together legal professionals, authors, and community advocates to explore the lived experiences of refugees in the UK, systemic legal frameworks, and pathways to integration. Drawing on expertise in psychology, wellbeing, and inclusive research for displaced students, responsibilities included framing the academic and social context of the discussion, facilitating dialogue between panellists regarding systemic integration barriers (such as credential recognition and language acquisition), and leading the closing interactive Q&A session for educators, students, and stakeholders.
