| Abstract | The Factum Foundation is a Madrid-based studio focused on documenting and assisting with heritage preservation. The Foundation focuses on high-resolution recording in order to create extraordinary replicas of fragile cultural sites and artifacts to make them available to wider audiences in both digital and physical forms. IDAC associate editor David Littlefield talks to the foundation’s founder Adam Lowe about the studio’s work, its values and methods, and questions surrounding themes of the original and the authentic. |
