The film restages photographs by Claude Cahun, setting them alongside spoken text from her writing now available in English for the first time.
Concept originator, director, camera operator, set designer, editor and producer. The French text of Confidences au miroir (Cahun, 1945–54) was abridged by Sarah Pucill, who oversaw the first English translation by Rachel Gomme. The LUX Blu-ray version of the film has original French and English subtitles.
