The aim of this working paper is to review the findings of research which investigated student perceptions of the feedback and how they used the feedback an undergraduate Business programme, which had substantial numbers of marketing students.
The research addresses students perception of feedback, whether students read feedback they are given, and the relationship between the mark and the grade.
It concludes by suggesting further practical improvements for student feedback and how the study has been developed to manage student expectations, encourage and develop their role in the feedback process and change the way that we look at feedback.
