| Abstract | Preface for the 2nd International Conference on Information Management & Management Science (IMMS 2019) and 2019 Asia Conference on Management Science & Engineering (ACMSE 2019), Chengdu, China We are very pleased to introduce the Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Information Management & Management Science (IMMS 2019) and 2019 Asia Conference on Management Science & Engineering (ACMSE 2019). The event was held at Mirror Lake Hotel, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, from 23rd to 25th August, 2019. One of the meaningful and valuable dimensions of this conference is the way it brings together researchers, scientists, academics, and engineers in the fields from different countries, and enables discussions and debate of relevant issues, challenges, opportunities, and research findings. The primary focus of IMMS 2019 is to provide an excellent platform for the participants to share and exchange brilliant ideas of original research, and to build international links. We deliver our promise on helping create a bright picture and charming landscape for research and applications. We received submissions from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, China, Japan, Egypt, Korea, India, Poland, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and other countries. Due to the constraint of the capacity and suitability of the theme, only 47 submissions were accepted as full papers for publication and presentation in IMMS 2019. These papers provide a good spectrum of research on such areas as information management, data analysis, city management, management science, and business management.
The success of the conference is due to the collective efforts of everyone involved. We would like to express and record our gratitude and appreciation to the authors for their contributions. Many thanks go as well to all of the reviewers who helped us maintain the high quality of manuscripts included in the Proceedings published by ACM. We also express our sincere thanks to the members of the conference committees and organising team for their hard work. We are glad to know that the authors and delegates have found IMMS 2019 interesting, exciting and inspiring.
