| Abstract | As global socio-environmental challenges escalate, the need for sustainability-focused education has become paramount. Despite widespread recognition of the importance of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), its integration into curricula remains complex due to various constraints, including a lack of detailed guidance. This paper presents the application of a Nine-Step Framework to assist universities in embedding ESD effectively, fostering student engagement with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This framework was applied in a workshop at the IUT conference 2025 and was developed by two co-module leaders of the Sustainable City Economies (SCE) module at Westminster Business School. |
